Jules Verne Theory brings together the talents and experience of Richard Slee and Arron Clague.
Arron previously worked at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop as well as writing and recording in the media production industry.
As part of the Eight to Infinity Production team, he has produced tracks for Mute Records (Erasure) and has previously released tracks with Ninthwave Records in the US, along with Heaven 17, where he produced the Remix of their single "I’m Going to Make You Fall in Love With Me".
Jules Verne are Now Signed to Ninthwave Records
Eight to Infinity's own LP ‘Aether’ was released in the USA on Section 44 Records to universal acclaim within the electro community, with many of the tracks licensed for marketing campaigns by the likes of Abercrombie and Fitch.
During this time Arron also worked with Garland Cult, who went on to work with Boy George among others.
Closer to home, he has recently been producing music for Dublin Arts Council installations, and contributing to Isle of Man singer/songwriter Clara Barkers' upcoming album.
Richard has been performing live for over 20 years. A graduate in drama, he has performed with well-known UK comedian and actor Greg Davies and enjoyed a leading role in short film ‘Harm’ produced by the Moving Picture Company.
Since returning to the Isle of Man after completing a postgraduate business degree in Australia he has been actively involved in the local arts scene. He was a founding member of the Shoestring Theatre Company and has been performing a diverse range of music in both the Isle of Man and UK.
We have just started this journey into the future, and are now fully recovered from opening for the Human League at a sold out concert at the Villa Marina, and our friends Heaven 17 also.
After several highly regarded EP's and singles, we are poised to release our debut album "Black Swan Events" on Ninthwave records on the 29th July 2016.
